I have registered but seem unable to post any requests on the forum am only able to research ?? How do I access the posting facility. TaffyTumelty

Hi

If you have managed to post your message about using the forum then this should indicate that everything is in place to start posting messages.

However, as you are experiencing problems I have sent you an email with a temporary password. If you login with this new password then everything should be ok. When you start using the forum again you should be able to update your profile and change the temporary password I have given you.

On the homepage of this website, under 'Looking for Information' there is a posting from 2006 about a man who served on HMS Cailiff. I have found the original posting via the clockworkeye link. I have registered there, but it say's I do not have access to post a reply.

I don't know if it's even worth replying, as the posting is so old and now on a nother website. However, if possible I'd like to give it a go.

Is it possible to reply via the clockworkeye site?

Sorry this old forum is now closed as it had quite a few security problems and only exists for reference only. I wished I could have transfered all the memberships details to this new forum but it wasn't possible.

With regard to HMS Cailiff and Gus Howard, I have answered your query in the 'Looking For Information' category' of this forum
